Quineshia Evans
Intake Counselor
A master’s level Social Worker with certification in Case Management. She received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and her master’s degree in Socal Work and Community Mental Health from from Alabama A&M University. She serves as the intake counselor at Oasis and is passionate about outreach, working with diverse, vulnerable and aging populations. She has a rich history of outreach experience with United Way of Madison County. She has previous experience working with court ordered youth in addressing substance abuse. Quineshia has extensive training and experience in psychosocial assessments and assessing dependence of substances. Her prior experience includes independently assessing clients through administering the ASAM assessment and providing diagnosis and treatment She has provided psycho-education and clinical services in individual, group, and family settings.
